Raiden 2

Raiden 2, or if you prefer Raiden IIS Part B, is the second installment in the Raiden Trilogy. It picks up right off where Raiden 1 left off. Literally. You get a little cutscene just too: "Previously in Part A...". Raiden 2 plays very differently than Raiden 1 and Raiden X. You get a life bar like in Raiden 1 but the game takes place in outer space and the screen does not scroll in its normal manner. That said it is still very fun and of course the music gets an unprecedented A+++.

Items

Items appear floating around the screen throughout the game. Each as its own advantages and disadvantages: 		Weapons

There are two types of weapons; the gun and the bomb. Bombs could cancel out certain enemies' weapons.
Medals

Medals are located in the background of every level. The more medals you get, the more bonus you get at the end of the level. 		Enemy Weapons

Colliding with an enemy or an enemy's attack will cause a decrease in the life bar.
